Styling services at 3rd Coast Salon cover blowouts, updos, event styling, and wedding hair. Whether you need a polished blowout for a work event or a full bridal updo, our stylists build every look to hold from the first photo to the last dance.
Our blowout bar is popular with clients from River North, Gold Coast, and Streeterville who want a professional finish without a full cut or color appointment. A standard blowout takes about 45 minutes and includes a shampoo and style with professional-grade products.
For weddings and special events, we recommend a trial run 4 to 6 weeks before the event date. This gives your stylist time to understand your vision, test the look with your accessories or veil, and make adjustments before the day itself. We offer on-location styling for bridal parties of 4 or more.

How far in advance should I book wedding hair?
We recommend booking your wedding hair 3 to 6 months in advance, especially for Saturday dates. A trial appointment should be scheduled 4 to 6 weeks before the wedding so your stylist can test the look and make adjustments.
How long does a blowout last?
A professional blowout typically lasts 2 to 3 days depending on your hair type and how you sleep. We recommend a silk pillowcase and dry shampoo to extend the life of your blowout between visits.
Do you offer on-location styling for events?
Yes. We offer on-location styling for bridal parties of 4 or more. Travel fees apply depending on the distance from our River North salon. Contact us to discuss your event details and availability.
